AKSHOBH GIRIDHARADAS co-hosts & co-produces THE GLOBAL DETAIL alongside Brandon Duke. Akshobh is the Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Perspicacity Media LLC, a Washington D.C.-based outfit. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and Adviser, Strategic Communications at the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF). Previously, Akshobh was a consultant with the World Bank in Washington, DC. A journalist by profession, Akshobh started his career in Singapore with ESPN STAR Sports, where he worked as a sports producer. He was based in Singapore for seven years, four of which were as a reporter and producer with MediaCorp’s Channel News Asia covering foreign policy and international business news. He reported extensively on investor sentiment, tech trends, Fortune 500 companies, and startups, and interviewed Singaporean policymakers and visiting foreign dignitaries.
